...Yeah, I dunno. Just a picture I took from my balcony. I'm not too impressed with it (I need a better camera!) but it's not hideous either. I only put it up 'cause I was tired of having my desktop as my most recent deviation.

I luuuurve it! I love shots like this that get bright colors through the sillouhette (I can't spell WEEEEEE!) of foliage. Also, the receding rooftops and linear motion of the clouds is wicked awesome. It's like it pits the imbalance of nature against the false-balance of the artificial/man-made.

It's very funny--in the series of shots I took, this is the only picture that came out so dark. The others were almost overexposed in their colouring, but this one just... wasn't. I'm not sure how it happened; the sky wasn't even this colour when I shot it.

Eeeeeeeh your digital camera (I assume? Maybe not.) sounds like mine. (Well, okay, my FAMILY's.) I think it depends on what it's trying to focus on and how many colors are in the shot. Some of my "hurricane" pictures turned out that way, like if a house was in the shot, there was some grayscale to it and the colors turned out more vibrant against that. But if it was just sky, the colors turned out really dull. Or the reversed, I forget. I think it just depends on how much that little computer is trying to accomplish at once. ;)

Yes, digital camera it was! And mine too. Well, mine NOW, it was formerly my mother's buuuuuuuuut whatever... I think it had to do with the angle. I think I had it tilted a bit more down than the other pictures.

Wait, what? Hurricane pictures? What?

Umm couple years back, when we had that series of hurricanes catapult across Florida within just the span of a month or two, I went outside and took some pictures of the sky. There's a few of them way back in my gallery somewhere. :floating:
